New players
Well, I finished WC and got a lot of neat stuff. Met and partied with an FFXI player. He plays a taru 75 blm 70 bst 40smn etc on Garuda and we just did some quests and got killed by Alliance players, talked, and just had fun. He had a lion pet (he's a hunter troll with a model that looked just like Aaron's) and I had just gotten my cat form this morning so he basically ran around with two lions and it was fun. We got killed by some warrior night elf and a hunter dwarf so we ran back from the graveyard and got a little revenge by killing the dwarf. My first kill, actually.
Other than that, my first real exposure to killing aimed directly for me. I was walking out of the Retreat and these 3 Alliance (rogue, mage, didn't see the third) were just hanging out a little ways away from the entrance. I only saw the mage, so I was approaching her all curious-like, when suddenly WHAM. A rogue had managed to sneak up on me and I was dazed and could hardly put up a fight. The most I could do was get into bear form (higher defense) and slowly back up into the guards. I ate dirt, but she soon followed. mwua ha ha.
Fun times so far.
