common useful knowledge for anyone: herpes

Just walked out of A and P class, and I have some information to share, since I'm on break.

Did you know that the herpes (cold sore) on your face is the same as the one for genital herpes? (I didn't)If you ever get a cold sore, keep your hygiene up because it's contagious. It'll stop being contagious once it's crusted over. If not, you can get it anywhere (including all over your body, or on the hands of the person that used the towel you wiped your face with, or on the thingy of the last guy you gave a bj to) on the body. Once you have it, it doesn't go away. It lies dormant in you waiting for opportunities. It can trigger under stress, overexposure to sunlight, or anytime your immune system is being taxed. Women with genital herpes can get it all over their baby if delivered vaginally.
Oh yeah, it can hurt but isn't life threatening unless you're immunosuppresed.
