Evenin'.

[sup tower, how's it goin'. have one (1) very very ticked off aquatic troll staring at the screen. even if you were used to seeing his species, he's a bit.. notable. mostly due to the fact that he's the kind one can instantaneously recognize as a villain-type. maybe it's the crazy collar. or the sneer revealing perfectly serrated teeth. [ONE DAY.

One day she will learn that not every noise needs to be investigated]

...oops.

[Creeping away now]

[n o p e not so fast. fast, however, is the sword that thinly embeds itself in the wall adjacent, blocking her from further escape. overly dramatic? justttt a little bit. follow its hilt and the hand gripping it, and you'll eventually see that the highblood is no longer frowning as severely. instead, it's been replaced by a smirk.]

My, my. Seems I've got both a coward and a traitor in my midst.

[Wow overdramatic aren't we. Does having purple blood lead to drama. Disciple feels this is so.]

It's not cowardly to try to avoid culling.

[all the drama, all of it. he twists the sword from the wall and points it toward her, though it's angled slightly downward. and, mockingly:]

Some would argue otherwise. Wouldn't it be more noble to fight for your life, or is that against his teachings too?

[She rolled her eyes and crept backwards, trying to find a way around him. She is never going anywhere without her claws again.]

Of course I'm allowed to defend myself. Hardly fair to fight against me unarmed though. Not noble.

[CONGRATULATIONS. your SMIRK has evolved into a GRIN.]

Yes, nothin' noble in fightin' an unarmed land dweller. Only killin' one.

[with that he lunges forward, arm and sword outstretched, and attempts to stick her straight through the abdomen.]

[She darts left, just catching the sword in her side. HE GETS A HISS as she tries to pull it out]

Let your empress do her own dirty work!

[a chuckle, though inwardly he is miffed by her words. the sheer insolence of land dwellers.. the fact that they would even say a word against their leader, let alone act in full rebellion as this midblood has done. seeing it spilled is only righteous.]

I wouldn't want her to dirty her hands in the first place.

[he yanks the sword viciously-- not out, but toward her. the aim of the action is to knock her off balance as he advances upon her.]

[She hissed in pain and scrambled to yank the sword out--except then he yanked and she stumbled back]

Shouldn't you find out what she wants? Purrlease. [She winces at that]

[now that gives him pause. about a second of it, but a pause nonetheless. and then he rids himself of the thought that he may not, in fact, know what She wants, but of course she would want this traitor dead--

he growls in annoyance of it all, taking a step forward for every one she took back, and lifts the sword high to strike again.]

[...If there was one thing she learned being a hunter, it was that she should go for the unexpected if she's cornered.

So she just goes for his legs. Kicking and clawing, trying to throw him off]

[fucking cats and their fucking-- he recoils through stepping back, cursing the lack of armor protecting the area. anywhere else, really, and he wouldn't have even flinched. however unseen due to the matching color, blood is drawn.

he kicks out at her reflexively, once again bringing the sword down in a more diagonal stroke.]

[She hissed, the sword cutting a long slice across her chest. If he's going to kill her, she's going to get him as well. She kicks again!]

[the orphaner snarls, teeth grit. why couldn't she just die already? and her blasted kicking, that's going to cause a bruise. but these were all just superficial injuries, even if they were to cause dull pain later. through the adrenaline, he is hardly able to feel it now. the most it causes is a shift in weight, from one foot to the foot in front.

for the final blow, he aims the weapon to stab straight through her chest.]

[ She hissed, kicking out at him one last time before the stab got her. She sank back, putting a hand to the wound. Shitshitshit ]

[the last kick catches him directly on the knee, and he hisses in irritation. granted, the manner of attack wasn't particularly powerful, but it was still relentless. but the initial jolt of pain is again alleviated with the sight of the fresh wave of blood, and the consequent sadistic pleasure that arises with it.

not that he wouldn't be without a slight limp later, however.

he twists the blade to rip at the flesh, and applies force to sink it deeper within her chest.]
