The only person who has been in his thoughts past working hours has been Kira who is currently asleep in the straw mattress bed, wrapped in his shirt and blankets - but Yuffie is Yuffie, and when in her usual spirits she has a way of grabbing your attention back.]]

I hope you slept well. I didn't want to wake you... you looked rather comfortable. Besides, we were rather active yesterday, and whilst I know SOLDIERs recover more swiftly, you are still recovering.
I will be gone for a few hours. Just visiting friends. There is some food on the stove, I hope you like chocobo stew... a family recipe in fact. It's been a while since I cooked it for anybody else.

I have Kira staying with me. She has informed me that she was previously staying with Hojo, though I have yet to release his coordinates... and I will not do so until I can be more certain.
[Unawares of the events unraveling from Jenova, from Sephiroth and the current torment beset upon Cloud, Reeve inputs the blonde's number and waits for it to ring. It had been a while, ever since the traumatic events of the orphanage, since they last spoke, and that was hurried at best. Not that they were ever the most conversational but even by those standards, it had been brief, it had been urgent and it had been unpleasant. Of course, the whole circumstance surrounding that - massacre - was entirely unpleasant.
Now given a bit more of a "rest", Reeve wants to speak to his friend, to find out about his wellbeing... but also to discuss Shelke.
No ring tone is heard, just something that sounds like static. Flipping the phone back he once more inputs Cloud's number with a frown, a strange sensation and concern pulling in his chest as he pulls on a boot, getting ready to leave for Shinra.
It begins to ring, but there is no answer. Putting his phone back, Reeve stands and tries to shift the mild foreboding that has just come over him.]
I have received no response during my endeavours to contact you. Your absence concerns me, yet, more than that, we still require your assistance.
