Following on from the broadcast made from Junon, the WRO have investigated and can confirm that this was an elaborate hoax. For more details please refer to the report [Link: #102299].

We reiterate that there is no need to panic. Those responsible for such will be traced and dealt with.

The source was the broadcasting tower in Junon. It may have been hacked into past security but that is still the origin. As I said the WRO have more military units at Junon and Midgar posted. If you wish I will forward the personnel details and current instructions for you to.. see where that particular department is up to.

That would be most appreciated. The security of the communication system itself will have to be revamped of course but we can discuss that in person.
