My bus driver isn't exactly the brightest crayon in the box ::shakes head:: He thought my cell phone was food o.O (it probably looked like a Twinkie or something since my plate is yellow)
"You in R4..please, don't eat that on the bus..oh, is that your cell phone? ::silence::"
Nobody seems to really like him..he's kind've a tight-arse. Yesterday, one of the kids that rides the bus (Jake) got into his car after the bus dropped him off and drove in front of it at 5 mph just to peez him off..it was so funny (you kinda had to be there) The bus driver got his license plate number, though. He'll probably get in trouble o.o;
We watched "The Cure" in Drama today. It's the saddest movie I've ever seen..I wanted to cry but I forced myself not to. It's about this young boy that contraced AIDS from a blood transfusion, and everybody treats him like crap (this was when people first found out about it and were ignorant). Except for his next-door neighbour, who tries to help him find a cure (hence the title). We have yet to finish it..More to come...
Erik and Dexter walking down the street..
Erik and Dexter heading downstream to find plants (the cure)..
Dexter..
Erik..
Erik and Dexter getting stopped by bullies..
Erik and Dexter heading downstream to run away..
Dexter and his mum..
We're also watching "Ordinary People" in English. It's about a teenager named Conrad who tried to commit suicide (but failed) by cutting himself after his brother died in a boating accident..I'd go into more detail, but I wouldn't want to spoil it for you ;)
A very interesting black&white movie we're watching in American History is "Modern Times" (or something like that). It stars Charlie Chaplin (an odd-looing fellow with a weird mustache..think Mr. Beans, only not as cool.) I think it takes place in the 1920s-during the Depression. It's so weird, but interesting at the same time.
It seems as though Valli and I won't get to see each other for our anniversary, which sucks arse. She's been working so much lately..no fair! I'll get to go to an Everblades game on Friday, though. Hopefully that'll cheer me up some. I hope we can get together on Sunday, I've gots some stuffs to give her. I miss being with her..
My sickness isn't going away, either. I think it's stress-related..which sucks since I have no control over it. I'm taking some medicine, though..hopefully it'll work (the last medicine I took only helped temporarily).
525,600 minutes
525,000 moments so dear
525,600 minutes
How do you measure a year?
In daylights, in sunsets
In midnights, in cups of coffee
In inches, in miles
In laughter, in strife
