“Why not? It’s not like she takes up much room.”
“It breathes my air. That’s enough reason to get rid of it.”
Harry frowned as he placed the kitten’s saucer down on the floor. The orange tabby was quick to lap up the milk. Harry straightened and looked over at Severus. “I breathe your air. Are you going to get rid of me?”
Severus rolled his eyes. “There’s benefits to keeping you. *It,* however, serves no purpose.”
Harry sauntered over to the man’s cluttered desk. “You could take non-lethal ingredients from her.”
Severus smirked. “Non-lethal? So gutting her and using her heart in a love potion is out of the question?”
Harry perched his bum on top of the desk. Papers scattered to the floor. “Definitely. Besides, there’s no point in brewing a love potion.” Harry smiled and leaned across the desk. He stroked his finger along Severus’ soft jaw. “You’ve already got me. What more could you want?”
“That cat gone,” Severus muttered, but he leaned into the caress.
Harry smirked before covering Severus’ still-protesting mouth with his own.
