This is pretty much what I think about this film!
I love Deadwood and till now there's nothing better than this show, not even 3:10 to Yuma! But watching this film has been incredible because the leading men are in the top ten list of my favourite actors ever, they are two of the most talented and charismatic ones, and it’s been so thrilling watching them working together!
Crowe shows his mischievous charm and Bale lays back with a weary face and wide eyes, but he knows how to make a good simple (and maybe boring) man an interesting man! Christian and Russell are two of the few actors who can give us an impressive performance even only with their eyes! Russell and his laughing, and sometimes scary, eyes is so charming….but Christian owns me for every little thing comes from his presence and his acting and his being such a talented actor! He can play an intense role or Donald Duck, he would shine in any case!
