Excerpts:
Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters or anything else associated with Animorphs, except for my own character and anything else extra I’ve put in. You don't one me.

A/N: Although there is an Alternamorphs already out, I didn’t think you got to do too much. I like mine much better simply because you interact more as a valid character and my morphs, I think, you can imagine them better.

Oh, and on several occasions I mention the word black or colored, but no racial offense ever is intended.

You can see your breath white against the black October sky. It’s cold out, but the cold takes your mind off your anger. So does the running. It’s something your dad used to do. Whenever he and your mother would get into it Into what?, he’d just put on his running shoes and run as fast as he could for miles and miles. OUCH. You and your dad used to share a lot of the same common traits. You both had the same windblown brown hair, My daddy and I have dark blonde hair. the same keen green eyes, We also both have blue eyes. the same slim, pointy nose, Wrong again! and you both loved a good run in the cold outdoors. None for none! No cookie for you! You remember your dad letting you wear his old track uniform for bed one night, and teaching you his running techniques. Oh! Running was his life. He had a chance to run for the Olympics one year, but he pulled a tendon one day practicing for try-outs. He also had a chance to see his daughter win several gold medals for her school’s track team, but he went out for a jog just before dinner and never came home. ANGST!

You shake your head to rid it of the sad memories. You didn’t come out to jog so you could get yourself all worked up and go home crying. You went out to get away from your mother, who was driving you up a wall. Ever since dad died, she’s been on your tail. I have a tail already?! But I haven't even snuggled Tobias met the Anis! You and her never really got along, and with dad gone, there’s no mediator to separate the two of you or to talk you down. Anyways, the reason you’re out jogging is because of your failing progress report. You had tried to make her forget all about it, but she’s like a hound dog. She morphs, too?!?!?! Once she’s onto something, she doesn’t stop chasing until it’s in her paws trapped. She went ballistic. Actually, that does sound like my mom... except she always forgets about it in the morning! =D

“If you would stop talking so much, and start studying more, then maybe you wouldn’t be failing!” Mom had shouted.

To which you had hollered back,” What friends, mom? Dad was my only friend, but he’s dead!!!!” Mom had dropped on the couch with grief and you headed for the door.

“Where are you going? Courtney!” I thought this story was about ME! Waah! That's false advertising, dude! Mom had called after you in an anguished voice, but you had only slammed the door on her. She just doesn’t understand. Dad was your motivation for anything, and with him gone nothing matters, not even running.

You’re lost in thought as you duck through a hole torn into the bottom of a chain-linked fence and into the old dilapidated abandoned construction site. It’s a dangerous place to go, but it’s full of solitude and silence, and your anger shrouds your terror, for the moment anyway. As you venture farther and further into the site, your heartbeat begins to pick up on you though. You creep through the place, being cautious of animal holes and glass. You also keep one-eye-open for any psychos that might creep up on you. Then you here the voices and your heart leaps. You skip over to behind a concrete wall and carefully peek over its edge.

You let out a deep sigh of relief. It’s only a bunch of kids. In fact, you know some of them. Rachel, everybody knows, because she’s Miss Popularity. Jake, her cousin, is Mr. Popularity. And you did a science project with Marco once, and he made you crack up all the way through it. But the other two you’ve only seen wandering through the hallway. And gosh! The blonde making eyes at Rachel is HOT!

You watch as they slowly make they’re You know, I learned the difference between there, they're and their in second grade... way by. You don’t really have a whole lot of patience at the moment, and you wish they would hurry on by. In your anxiety, you are trying to peer far enough over to where you can see them disappearing into the darkness, and your feet trip over a small rock, sending you sprawling out from behind the wall, right where the kids can see you.

“What the-“Jake starts out. “Hey, what’re you doing here?”

“Jake,” Says a black girl with short black hair. That's kinda redundant... “Don’t be rude, she just fell over. Are you all right?” She asks you.

You landed on a pile of broken beer bottles, and it feels like you’ve cut up your knee, but you force yourself to your feet. “I’m fine,” You mumble quietly.

“Hey, what’s that?”

“It looks like a flying saucer!” The colored girl cries. You look up, too, and see a small ball of white-blue light coming right towards you.

“Run!” You yell, but no one moves. The light descends lower and lower, until it is just six feet away from you. A gush of wind rushes against you and the others, blowing back your hair until it stands on end. The wind stops and the blaring lights from the strange object dim and you see that it is a flying saucer, just like the colored girl said it was! I'm tellin' ya, that Cassie Knows All! Accept it!

None of you talk or even move. A large dome-shaped opening appears in the ship’s side and light shines out from within. You squint into the light and make out a shadowy figure emerging. It almost looks like a man, until the creature steps fully from the ship and you can see it has a human-torso, but a deer-like body with four legs and hooves. The creature doesn’t have a mouth, just three small slits. And it doesn’t have a nose, either. It also has a long, scorpion shaped tail with a large hook at its end, obviously used for a weapon. And it will be used on you, since you're a stupid Sue who can't mind her own business.

The creature steps slowly onto the ramp, staggers a bit, then falls over and hits the ground. You all run to help him. There’s a large burn-like gash in its side. Is it a burn or a gash? Make up your mind, sweetie.

You kneel down next to a boy with shaggy blonde hair, who is trying to lift the poor alien up onto his lap. Tobias the strong man!

‘We have to get him to a hospital.” The colored girl declares. Because she just can't SAY it, can she?

“There is no time-no time.” The creature says, although he doesn’t really say anything. You hear the voice in your head and realize that the creature is telepathic. “The wound is fatal. My time here will be brief.” So why is speaking in quotes? Is FFN not letting use thoughtspeak again?

“But you can’t die!” The blonde haired boy exclaims. “You’re like the first alien on earth ever!” "And you like hafta to come to my like school for like Take Your Parents to School Day! That would be like so totally awesome!!!!!1!!!one!!11!" =D

“I am not the first. There are others.” But they don't come in peace.

“Like you?”

“Not like me,” The alien says. “They are evil. They have come to destroy you.”

Your heart skips a beat in your chest. There’s no way...there’s no way. You can’t believe that this is happening. Good. Now stop deluding yourself and go write a fic about Rachel and Tobias making hot, passionate and occaisionally painful love in Rachel's mom's law office.

“They are no more than slugs. They crawl into your ear and take over your brain, completely. They are called Yeerks.” You know, suddenly all this stuff that shocked me to my core years ago, when I first picked up the Invasion... Sounds really damn cheesy. -_- Curse you, Sue!

Another ship appears overhead. This one, however, is blacker than black. What's blacker than being black? Midnight black! Heeeeeey Yaaaaa... You can feel the evil radiating from it, making you shudder. Self hate goin' on there, Courtney, dear?

“Well?” You hear.

“What?” You say, tearing your gaze from the sky. Rachel groans.

“Do you wish to receive the power to morph?” SAY NO! SAY NO!

“The power to do what?” You ask. Invest in hearing aids... for... uh... thoughtspeak. Yeah. ^_^''

“There isn’t anymore time to explain. One of the others must explain it to you. Quickly, put your hand on the box.” The alien commands. Others? What others?

You watch as Rachel, Cassie, Tobias, Jake, and eventually Marco place their hands on the edges of the box. They all look at you and wait anxiously.

“C’mon!!!” They all yell.

You glance at the alien, at each of the kids, back at the alien, and finally at the black ship overhead, which is in clear vision, now. Then, finally, you place your hand next to Marco and Jake’s hands. The alien, too, places one of his long, too-many fingered hands on the box next to yours and you feel a tingling sensation run through your fingers, up your arm, and into your body.

“Now, go, quickly.” The alien says to you. But none of you move.

“We are not leaving you here to die.” Rachel says fiercely.

“You cannot be seen,” The alien urges. “Go, hide, save you and your people. Hurry!” "But Courtney can stay with me and die!"

At the force of his words, everyone but you and the blonde boy gets up and runs. You stay for a moment longer, battling with reason and guilt. Then, you get up as well and run behind another old concrete wall where the others are hiding.

“Come on, Tobias,” You hear Rachel whisper. So that’s his name, Tobias. You crawl on your hands and knees up closer to Rachel, who his ? holding Cassie. Rachel seems strong and it’s comforting to be near her. Lesbian!You-Sue? *hopes*

“AAAGGHHH!!!” You suddenly screech as a cold and bony hand clutches your leg. Rachel clasps a free hand over your mouth. You are relieved to see that it’s only Tobias and will your heart to stop jack hammering. Wow, Tobias, you're getting awfully touchy with a girl who didn't even know your name...

The six of you carefully peek over the edges of the concrete wall. The black ship is landing. You sigh, relieved, that over the noise it’s making your scream wasn’t heard. You watch as a door opens in the side of the evil black ship and out steps an alien that looks identical to the alien wounded.

“Visser three was the only Andelite to be taken over by a yeerk.” You hear in your head. It’s the hurt alien. He’s trying to explain to you as much as he can in his last moments.

Visser three steps over the alien. You do the three step in, you do the two step out... you do the four step in, and you kill Courtney without doubt! You do the hokey-pokey and you turn it all about...

“Well, well,” He says. “What have we here? A wounded andelite prince? Ah, but not just any andelite. Prince Elfangor, if I am not mistaken? It's an honor to meet your acquaintance.” She's spelling Andalite wrong, for God's sake... I swear that word was in every single book at LEAST once...

You are shocked to hear the visser’s voice inside your head. You begin to wonder if he can hear your thoughts, too. What do Sues think? Or, better yet... do they think AT ALL?

“No, he cannot hear your thoughts,” Comes the wounded alien again. “Not unless you want him too.” Back to my comments on there, their, and they're. Again your eye flickers. You notice that your eye flickers every time he does that, because it feels so strange to have another voice speaking to you inside your head. Hey, you could just be delusional! =D

Prince Elfangor climbs to his feet and starts fighting with the andelite. You’re impressed with his courage. Despite the wound and terror he must be feeling, the andelite still refuses to show his pain or fear. He knows he’s going to die to his enemy, but he’s going to take as many down with him as he can. The two aliens clash tails together in an amazing fight. Until Visser three rips a cut into Elfangors side and Elfangor falls.

“Hold him for me,” Visser three commands two large aliens with long, ostrich like necks and dinosaur feet.

You grip the wall with your hands as you watch the small and nearly harmless looking visser three turn into a creature that must stand at least a hundred feet over you, with large, gaping jaws and dagger teeth. You don’t realize that you’re shaking or that tears are about to spill over the edges of your eyes. You feel Jake and Marco wrap their large arms around you. ... I can't even think up a witty remark for this one!

The monster that was once visser three reaches down with one of his thick and long tentacles and grabs Elfangor by his leg and holds him up high over his head. Slowly, those gaping jaws open. *hums Jaws theme*

You give a small laugh. Yes, my straitjacket size is a 14 XL. “No,” You whisper impossibly. Is it impossible to whisper? That's... weird. This wasn’t about to happen. But the jaws open all the way, and Elfangor just dangles helplessly over his treacherous inevitable fate. “No way, no, no, no...” Marco puts his hand over your eyes at the last moment. You jerk when you hear the ear-shattering scream that comes from Elfangor as those teeth rip him apart. Your own scream mingles with Elfangor’s. You wriggle loose of Jake and Marco’s grasp and cover both ears, pressing harder and harder, but nothing cuts off that scream. You fall against Jake, sobbing miserably.

You hear Tobias gagging next to you. One of the Hork-Bajir turns towards the sound.

“Run!” Jake yells. You grab Tobias’s hand and pull him to his feet. You, him, and the colored girl take off running in the opposite direction of Jake and Rachel. You feel Tobias faltering behind you. “Come on!” You scream, yanking him by the arm.

All you can do is run, all you can do is pound the terror out of your body and scream and run like you’re crazy, without looking back. You reach the gate surrounding the construction gate and all three of you crawl through it. On the dirt road towards home you can all run much faster. When you reach your own neighborhoods, you split up. You don’t stop running even to take a deep breath. You just run, run, run all the way to your front door. You’re glad that your mother is asleep. You quickly close the door behind you and dead bolt it. Without worrying about putting on bedclothes, you kick your slip-ons off, and jump into bed. Underneath your covers, you press your face into your pillow and sob like crazy, shaking, unbelieving of what just happened to you.

It's 1:15AM, guys. I hope one of you can do a better job next time... hgfhgfrugryut59klc7839 *falls asleep on keyboard*
