Animorphs Fanfic Contest

Hi!



I'm considering running an Animorphs fanfiction contest, and I'm wondering how many people would be interested. The contest would go like this: a topic would be given, and everyone would have a couple months to complete their fic. I'm currently thinking over what the topic would be, but it would probably be open, like "death", "culture shock" or "prejudice". Multiple submissions would be allowed, as well as all ratings and subjects, as long as they corresponded to the given topic. Winners would be announced for the following categories:

Best Overall
Best Slash
Best Het
Best Gen/Friendship
Best Smut
Best Angst
Best Humor
Best Crossover

I need to know if there are enough people interested to start preparations. I also need:

a) Someone willing to be a co-judge. I've found that in fanfic contests, it's better to have more than one person judging to avoid accusations of favoritism.

b) Prizes! If anyone is willing to contribute icons, fanart, or fanfic to the winner, let me know! I'm thinking that "Best Overall" will be getting an Amazon.com gift card.
