Animorphs movie domain names owned by Sony
There's been some recent news come to light revealing that Sony Pictures actually owns several Animorphs domain names - including animorphs.net, animorphsmovie.com, animorphs-movie.com, and animorphs-movie.net. But apparently, these were bought just before the announcement of the re-release, and are due to expire on June 19th, 2013 - which means that this isn't necessarily as good of a sign as all this sounds. Chances are, the re-release was partially a way of gaging interest, and the recent cancellation isn't a good sign.

But as Issam notes (and since I'm pretty sure we all live in hope here), it might be possible for fans to build a campaign to try and convince Scolastic/Sony that a movie would be profitable.
So: what's everyone's thoughts on this, and would anyone have any ideas on what could convince these companies to consider making a movie?
