Scraped through 2/3 exams so far but I'm already dreaming up what to do once I'm done - and on the list is some reading :)
I plan to head out to the bigger bookstores when I have time -
- so any good book recommendations?
Here's the short list of books I'm contemplating of getting so far:
- Plain Kate by Erin Bow
- Boneshaker by Cherie Priest
- Abhorsen by Garth Nix {for re-reading purposes}
- Ombria in Shadow by Patricia Mckillip {as above}
- Chalice by Robin Mckinley
- The Singer of All Songs by Kate Constable
- A Conspiracy of Kings by Megan Walen Turner
- The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff
*Due to monetary limits I'll probably end up getting 2/3 books.
*I'll also borrow if I can - my library holds much of the old but not much of the new.
* Even though about 50% of the list is YA and 80% is Fantasy - I'm open to other genres [including poetry, fiction and non-fiction] so those recommendations are welcome too.
