I have come bearing a love story.
A buddy of mine, on a trip to Portland, met a girl on a bus. They were eye-flirting but didn't speak. Just as he was about to talk to her, she got up for her stop, but before she disembarked she handed him a note. "hi stranger! sorry if this is bizarre but you are very beautiful and look like Vincent Van Gogh. Love, Stranger." When my buddy got home he made a Tumblr postasking for help finding this girl. The post went VIRAL like WHAT. As we speak it has well over 12,000 notes and it hasn't been 24 hours. Well it worked. within AN HOUR they not only found the girl, but the day before, after she had gotten off the bus, she had made her own Tumblr post about the encounter. It was like fucking MAGIC. Like Paperman, only instead of paper planes it was Tumblr.

now heres the part I didn't say on my FB when I posted this story lol. I'm in the chat room I hang out in now and hes EXPLODING because not only did he find this girl, who he finds amazing and awesome and plus because his note went crazy he got 600 NEW FOLLOWERS from it, it turns out from his chatting with her- shes a lesbian ^^; all she wanted to do was compliment a guy she found aesthetically pleasing and who looked remarkably like Vincent Van Gogh (he does- we call him Hipster Van Gogh). And now all of Tumblr is shipping them because their story was just so romantic. Ah, this world. well he hopes they can at least be friends, and I hope that for them, too.
