(no subject)
I'm sure I'm not the first one to rant on this subject but I'm going to anyhow.
There is little that annoys me more than people who are excited about a zombie apocalypse idea. I mean yeah okay its make-believe and its not going to happen anyhow and its a fun genre I do enjoy in my entertainment, but when I meet people who are like "man I wish there really WOULD be a zombie Apocalypse, then I can get a gun and just go nuts on a bunch of zombies!" and its like, no. No. No one wants that. You don't want that. It wouldn't just be shooting monsters in the head. It wouldn't be a video game where you have save points or a movie with an inevitable happy ending. Everyone would die. Your family would die. Your friends would die. Your neighbors would die. And then they would all try to kill you. Society would collapse. There would be no communication and travel would be difficult at the best of times, fatal at the worst. You would need advanced survival skills just to get food, water and shelter. And then the reanimated corpses of strangers and loved ones alike would be hunting you, clawing at your door, dogging your steps at all times, desperately trying to reach you, to tear off your flesh, pull if from your bones and consume it. 24 hours. The dead don't need to sleep. You need to sleep.
And okay I get it like your existence right now is boring and frustrating and you have these nihilistic thoughts that you just want it all to END because FUCK the world, but Jesus think things through a little. Why would Hell be a better solution to your current life? At least wish for super powers or something.
I went away from this post for a bit because I'm at work and when I came back I realized it was an unnecessarily long and stupid rant but I'm going to post it anyhow because this is an argument I have actually had with people and it enrages me every time. But I will give you the mercy of cutting off here. I'm actually pretty busy with my experimental virus construction and my nightmarish black magic rituals anyhow.
