okay someone help me out with something, I'm dyin' here.
I know you're all probably sick of me talking about Candyland like I'm actually gonna draw it someday (stuck at page seven does not bode well) but I'm having a design issue.
So in the original 70's version of the game that I'm basing this whole thing off, Queen Frostine wore blue, because blue=cold=frozen treats. I loved that. I liked that she wore blue instead of pink like all the other princesses and flipped my shit when they made a pink version of her and called her "Princess Frostine" (as I believe I have expressed before). Now heres my problem. ICE CREAM ISN'T BLUE. Unless we're going fruit flavored, I don't think anyone would eat blue ice cream. In the comic, I was thinking of making the Ice Cream Sea Neapolitan, so it'd be chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry, and basically cover all ice cream bases (except mint but Mr. Mint is design finalized.) but then wouldn't I want her to MATCH the sea, and have her wear brown, white, and pink? But then how is that the Queen Frostine I'm basing this comic off off? She'd be nigh unrecognizable. I am so torn. Any input would be welcome.
