(no subject)
I did some of my homework and now I don't wanna do any more. But I have to so that I don't have to do it over the weekend. I still need to do two animations, and four half-hour life drawings from pictures of naked people off the internet. It's not quite the same as a real model, since I'm limited to the size of my monitor, but all the shapes and shadows are still there. Today I'll try to finish the life drawings, Tomorrow, the animations. And somewhere in there I'll try to find the time to do some entries for various fanart contests on Deviantart that I was inspired to do. Is it cheating on my 100 Themes if I draw it for a Valentines Day contest, and then label it "#2- Love"? Oh whatever.
And now in financial news.
I've been applying to a lot of jobs lately on Craiglist but I haven't gotten any callbacks. I don't know why people post "now hiring" ads on Craigslist if they don't want you to apply online. I guess it's about time again to hit the phone books and see if any hotels are hiring any positions. I called my school today to ask about my financial aid- they said, "Oh yeah, we got your check right here. We'll mail it to you on the 22nd." So I have to wait until the 22nd? Even though you HAVE it? Thats some bull. I mean its not awful, it'll be here in time to make my next month's rent, and it's not like I'm starving, but COME ON! I look forward to being able to pay back all the people I owe money to, and them taking them out to dinner as a thank-you. And then buying SO MUCH MANGA. But I've waited this long, I can wait two more weeks.
