First week back in class. Today we got together in groups to discuss what work we've done in the past that meant a lot to us, and what we intend to do for our spring project, which will occupy the entire quarter.
I mentioned Red All Over, since it's consumed some five-odd years of my life, and everyone was astounded that I maintained a webcomic. One guy had a laptop and he busted it out and looked it up, and everyone started going through my archives! That was EMBARRASSING XD (much as I love it, RAO doesn't exactly represent me on a professional level!)
So when it came to talking about what I'll be doing this quarter, I was torn between two ideas. Animating the short comic I did about Ghost Pirates, which would be totally fun, or making a fake trailer for Red All Over: the Movie.
They unanimously and unhesitatingly decreed that I should make Red All Over: The Movie: The Trailer.
So RAO's gonna be animated.
Now to decide what scenes. And how to colour it since Photoshop will not be at my disposal.
Also I will need an EPIC SOUNDTRACK. Should it have a narrator, or just music and a few title screens? Hmmm.... So much work to do!
