had a fabulous birthday
I can't find the cord that hooks my camera up to the computer. Did Matt have it? Does that mean its in my Uncle's barn now with his couch and that bag of computer parts? I need that cord to get those paintings I did off the camera, and all those pictures we took of puffins and otters yesterday at the aquarium. FISHIES YAY!
I had a fun birthday. We went to the aquarium and a pirate store, and bummed around Seattle, including getting lost in a questionable neighborhood. And there was a delicious pizza. Aleph got me a copy of "Howl's Moving Castle" because I'm reading the book (you never realize how personality-less Howl is in the movie until you're comparing him to the book version), And Moni is going to take me to get a massage as soon as the Godforsaken sunburn I got at graduation goes away (its at the itchy stage now and it doesn't hurt to sleep anymore, so I must be healing now).
Meridan got me something completely unexpected. It surprises me every time I walk into my room and see it. I got A VIOLIN. I have always wanted a violin! Thats no secret but I didn't think anyone would actually take me up on it!!! I WANT TO LEARN HOW TO PLAY IT! Its too bad I didn't take violin years ago, I'd be AWESOME at it by now, instead of awesome at it in five, ten years. But no, I had to pick the clarinet. If I ever have kids, I don't think I'll let them play an instrument that requires reeds.
The one thing that bums me out is we also had to drop Matt off at the airport last night, and I won't see him for a month. Hes at home in Minnesota now. I'll be joining him in mid July, so I guess I'd better start worrying about plane tickets soon, the cost isn't going to improve my my procrastinating.
I guess I'll do that now.

bought my ticket. I leave July 15th at midnight. Sorry its a Wednesday... thats karaoke night. But Wednesday was cheapest.
