WORK TAKES OVER ONE'S LIFE. Also looking back on old school manga particularly Black Jack.
It's been a good long while since I've made a journal entry and well I have been working. Bills have piled up and my aunt is on disability so I am basically the breadwinner until tax returns come back. Hetalia is my happiness right now and Season FIVE has been WONDERFUL. Thank you OVA rules. OVA's usually mean an anime company can get away with things they couldn't do on regular television such as nudity with detail and brutal violence. Seriously compare any anime's regular run and then look at an OVA version. An example that I can think of is Bakuretsu Hunter or as it is called in English Sorcerer Hunters. Both versions are pervy but the OVA is more closely related to the manga which is more pervy. Also OVA's get a bigger budget.
I am grateful for these things because after waiting so long I feel Studio Deen is rewarding the Hetalia fans. I mean they even went back and changed some character's eye/skin colors back to their original design. That is great!
I guess one thing to add is that I will be around more just was going through a tough time where I was working a lot and felt I didn't have enough time for certain things. However that made me miss one of my aunt's birthday's and she called me wondering why I didn't wish her a Happy Birthday. That is unacceptable especially since she helps me out when I need it.
2013. It's already March but I really do pray this year works out well for me and that I save enough money to go to a convention particularly Akon in Dallas, TX. I went last year but had only a few bucks to spend. I saved enough to get seasons one and two of Hetalia plus a Kuromi plushie but man there were some things I wish I could have had enough for both had to save money for rent. I hope everyone is doing well and....
IF I EVER FIND MYSELF DEPRESSED I LOOK AT SOMETHING THAT MAKES ME SMILE. EVEN IF IT MAKES ME SAD THERE IS STILL A FEELING OF HAPPINESS IF IT'S SOMETHING DECEASED. IT HELPS A LITTLE.
OH Black Jack. Sorry almost forgot. The series is good. It's about a unlicensed doctor that helps people in a jerkish way. Not like House but unfortunately that is the closest comparison I could think of. FOR SHAME! Um the art style is different in that it is old school but manages to be well detailed especially the surgery scenes. I like Black Jack as a character and I sort of think he is cute. If I needed medical assistance from him, I would take it. If he agreed to it.
