Jenkitty sat on the end of her bed staring out the window at the birds perching on a nearby tree. Her legs were hanging casually off the end of the bed, swinging back and forth as she daydreamed. ‘Today is so boring,‘ she thought to herself as she stared outside in a daze. The birds stirred from their resting place and flew away, causing Jenkitty to come to. She turned her head and looked away from the window, her eyes meeting with those of her beloved Tokitty. “Ah!” Jenkitty let out a shriek and fell back on her bed in surprise. Her ears flattened as she looked up at Tokitty, slightly annoyed, “You surprised me! Mean!”
Tokitty stared back at her with a smile on her face. She crawled onto the bed, flipping her tail about behind her. “I’m sorry, Jenkitty!” A low purr started in the bottom of her throat as she rubbed her cheek against Jenkitty’s and then kissed it softly. Jenkitty’s cheeks flushed slightly as she felt Tokitty’s lips brush against her own.
“W-what are you doi-” She was cut off with another kiss from her pet. “Do you think this make up for surprising me like that?” Jenkitty pouted and pushed Tokitty off of her, sliding off of the bed and getting up. Tokitty sat on her knees and watched her as she walked across the room and out of the door. She crawled off the bed and followed Jenkitty out of the room, only to find no sight of her in the hallway.
“Where did you go, Jenkitty?” Tokitty mewled, looking around in a state of confusion. She started slowly down the hallway in search of her master. Suddenly, she felt something on her back and fell to the ground screaming. She flailed about and tried to turn over quickly to see what was on her. To her surprise, Jenkitty had pounced on her from behind and was no on top of her with a smirk across her face.
“Where did you go? Are you really mad at me?” Tokitty looked up, desperate for an answer from her master.
“No, I’m not really mad at you! Silly.” She kissed Tokitty’s nose and stood up, dragging her pet with her.
Pulling Tokitty along, Jenkitty went back into their room and hopped back onto the bed. She wrapped her arms around Tokitty and pulled her close, kissing her cheek and then her lips. “I love you too much to be mad at you.”
Tokitty nuzzled Jenkitty’s neck and snuggled as close as she possibly could, “I love you, too, Jenkitty..”
