Today I woke up feeling a little better. Last night and this morning I made sure to drink some Airborne stuff. I can't get sick! I CAN'T! 5 more days until my vacation starts and 7 days until Yaoicon!
Wouldn't you know it...starting up the car this morning...the "Service Engine Soon" light came back on. *sigh* Bekah said she's taking it back to the 1st dealership Saturday. I told her to just wait until we get back from San Fran but as most of you know...she's not the most patient person. *heavier sigh*
Sometimes I have to remind myself to be grateful for everything and everyone in my life. I hate when I get all whiney and bitchy about the little stuff. I'm VERY fortunate and today is another reminder. Right before lunch, found out from a friend (also a co-worker) that another friend of ours (who works here), was fired Tuesday, guess I should have said who worked here. I feel really awful for her but we all knew it was going to happen. She'd been missing so much work...not all legit and she'd been screwing up big-time so we knew but still it's hard to hear about it. I'm debating on calling her up...I'm sure she'll call me but I'm sure she's also really upset. Just when you're starting to feel a little down...something like this happens and you remember how damn lucky/blessed/fortunate you really are.
