the final countdowness!
My last show was Saturday. You could say it was my Capital Rep finale. It was a good job. Granted, i bitched a lot at first b/c I didn't expect what I was going to be doing and I thought everyone hated me (still working on getting over that whole self-consious complex), but in the end I felt like a part of that work-type-family. Except I was the kid who rode the short bus, and I always will be.
But I still don't think I'll ever want to serious consider stage management. It's crazy.
Now I'm getting ready for Ireland. There's a lot of stuff I forgot about. Like oh I dunno, electrical outlets being different in Europe than America. -_- I can be a moron sometimes.
I almost couldn't go. I found out that I actually DO have to pay for housing, which could've ended badly if it wasn't for the fact that my parents are pretty awesome about giving me a loan.
Now I just have to get some traveler's checks going.
Joe is here for the week to say goodbye. Last night Beth chopped off my hair, it looks sweet!
Today I went to a spa for the first time ever. I got a full body massage (no happy ending), it was amazingly relaxing!
Tomorrow is going to be hella-busy. Chiropractor, stop at work to drop off a DVD and some more final goodbyes, bank for traveler's checks, turning in my plates for the summer, going to my insurance company to prove I handed in my plates, going to Bomber's for dinner with the homefries (feel free to come if you're in the area!).
Thursday I will hopefully still get to see Graham and Kathleen for lunch and then I will seriously start packing.
Friday will be laundry, setting up ye ol' laptop and a finalizing of packingage.
Wow... I'm leaving Sunday. I've got that anxiety like "oh! holy crap!", but in that excited kind of way.
Once again, if you kids want to stay in contact with me, please leave me your e-mail/mailing address. I'll screen the comments in this one again. ^_^
