For Procrastination Purposes...another update!
Yeah, I suck.
Anyway, I've been really good today as far as studying goes for the Japanese test. However, I'm starting to get really anxious about the damn paper due Friday. *le sigh* I think tomorrow I'm going to trap myself in the library or something until I get it done. Tomorrow I have to tell my teachers (including Williams-sensei ahH!) that I'll not be in class on Friday because I'm going to the beach. I've pretty much decided that me and Derrin are now going to do our own thing. We'll go to Myrtle Beach and get a shitty hotel or something and it'll be great. ^^ I'm really looking forward to it xD
About Japanese...I think that what I've been doing has been good, but I still need to work harder. I think that my two goals over Spring Break will be to read 1984 (I finally started that bitch this weekend and I'm itching to keep reading!) and to study/practice speaking my Japanese. I'm going to try to go through all my notebooks and make some sort of collective notebook to study from. It'll include 1. kanji and kanji compounds, 2. frequently used vocabulary, 3. grammar and examples. I probably won't finish with it, but I at least want to get it started so that I can be more prepared to practice speaking with Hiroki once we get back from break. Also, ever since I was snoopin around the art section of the bookstore...I really want to buy this bamboo brush and a thing of ink...and pretend that I can draw pretty kanji ^^ hehe.
Also, I've been told that the place I'm likely to stay for the internship part of the summer (like July)...doesn't have internet. But there are internet cafe places that I can go to...so I'm going to try to have a day that I get on the internet each week or so. I'll be sure to let you all know what time that will be so that I can go and check emails, write entries, and maybe get on aim^^ Also, if you want a souvenier please put in a request^^ I already have some specific requests from Mikey and Laura. Mikey likes postcards so I'm going to send him one^^ and Laura said she'd like a charm from the Shrine I'll be working at. xD
