Finally got to watch this episode, and here are my (scrambled) thoughts
reasons why this episode wins:
1- roy has to suck up his pride. that's always a good thing for him, and uber cute.
2- luthor called him adorable. BWAHAHA.
3- cheshire totally has a thing for roy- and woah, i though it was subtext and me making things up, and then she said the 'date' line.
4-roy. royroyroy in sunglasses and a suit, his awesome compound bow. damn he's hot.
5-their teacher
6-superboy's smarts
7-WHITE MARTIANS
8-aqualad's cool powers
I want to know more about Cheshire and Artemis. Why is Cheshire keeping Artemis's secret safe? Is it out of respect/friendship with Artemis, or because Artemis's infiltration of YJ is part of a larger plan by the League, and thus Cheshire has to keep it secret or risk the mission.
So, the white martian thing was AWESOME. it's so rare to address the very probably existence of different races and cultures in extraterrestrial species. Whenever we talk about other worlds in fiction, theyr'e always talked about as if they're homogenous. As if humans are. pfffft.
The romance between Mgann and Supey though, lame. Like, sometimes it's adorable, but oftentimes it's just so cliche and predictable. Ugh. Like, they're really ditzying up M'gann's character. Not cool. As much as it fits her... cheerleader? Seriously? Can we go through all the high-school cliches in one episode? >.<
Also, Supey finally gets his name! But the way it comes about was so anticlimactic. Just a name M'gann likes? Really? And just because he has to go to school? :(
Roy and Aqualad work fantastically well together. They'd make a good team.
