I has a little question, how hard is Japanese to learn - obviously it's not easy, but I'm being offered the oportunity to learn some and I have to sign up by tomorrow and I'm really unsure. I'm fairly good at Latin and French, so I assume that means I'm good with European/Latin based languages...but I don't know???

Well when you first learn, it's fun and easy but I've started to not like it as much as I used to because my teacher isn't the greatest and I'm juggling heaps of subjects too o.o But I'm pretty sure that your teachers are muuuuch better than mine =)

All of the other people I've met like from Uni who study Japanese love it and I'm just full of angst so it could just be me who doesn't like it =O

But yea, if you have the chance, go for it! Your good at languages so I think you should try it! =) If you don't like it, I suppose you can always quit (?)

Hope that helped! If you need to ask more questions, I won't be able to reply until tomorrow since I'm going to sleep now =D Good luck in choosing!!

Okay, to me it's just so weird that it's not written in a latin alphabet, I think it's more of a vocational thing, but I do believe there are some optional exams in order to get a qualification. I'm tempted purely because I'm very intrigued by it being so different and I have a dream of working overseas and I guess having tried lots of languages is a definite help to that.

I guess so, this girl I know and I are thinking of doing it together.

OMG I totally forgot about the time difference there.
