My post is the longest so far. >_> I think the "fandom" part of it is the main contributing factor. *cough*
Also, went to A-kon for the first time yesterday. I was only there from 3:30 to 8-ish and I didn't get a ticket, so I didn't get to check out everything, but I did look around at the artist alley after we finished with Fight The Knight, which was ridiculous. My arms and legs still hate me for the 3 hours almost straight of fighting. As I told spazzyfroggies, I was "beating the shit out of little shits that thought they could take me on." Most of the kids were really cool and had a lot of fun, but some of them I just wanted to beat into the ground. And I did, sometimes.
It was pretty amusing though, because Olan had the mic and kept talking about how the people you needed to watch out for were the girls. And he was right. Taryn and I are some of the best fighters in IFGS, and she's 13 and just a bit shorter than me, and a bunch of the girls who came into the ring and fought with us were really good. I hope they come to some games soon, because I think they'd have a lot of fun.
I definitely want to go to A-kon again next year, and this time for the whole weekend. It's a HUGE CON and a bit overwhelming, but I think if I was there for the first day and didn't just show up for FtK on Saturday, it would be a little less overwhelming.
