this morning and decided I should go ahead and throw up an Alice/Oz/Gil fic, since I had already claimed that pairing over at 3_way. And that reminded me that I need to actually work on said challenge. So here's the table of the themes, and I'm hoping that people will prod me to get this done, cuz I really want to do it, but I have a tendency to be kinda lazy. I think I'll print out the list and take it with me to Comet Camp though, so that should help. Getting away from places I live helps my muse. It might be time for a road trip for a weekend or something. I need to get out and go somewhere I haven't been before.

But I'm really excited about this. And then everything's starting up again! I mean, I have a week and a half of hell coming up (Three work days, an orientation, three day camp, and one day mini-camp all in a row without a day in between any, and then the next day is the first day of school. -_- *sigh*), but once school starts, everything should be good. I'm trying to get a job still *crosses fingers*, AnimeFest is right around the corner, IFGS should pick up again, now that it's cooling off a little, and NaNoWriMo will be coming up soon!
I'm just so excited! It's just a matter of surviving my last week as an OTM. Yeah, I'm done with this job. I love what I do, but I don't like the constant change in leadership, the lack of reasons to continue (OTM retention rate... about 2%. For good reason.), the ridiculous stuff with payment, the misunderstandings, the long hours and pathetic pay... I need a real job. I'll miss helping the fish at orientations, but... Anya suggested I become a PA, and I might just do that, though I don't know if I want all the work... I dunno. *shrugs* We'll see.
But anyways... People are moving back into town, and the school year's about to start up! I'm totally excited about my classes, too.
Stretching and Conditioning (DANC 2331) - TR 10-11:15am
Intermediate Japanese I (LANG 2311) - MWF 12:30-1:20pm
Psych of Creativity (PSY 3355) - TR 2:30-3:45pm
North American Archeology (ISGS 3384) - W 2:30-5:15pm
Community Chorale (MUSI 2327) - M 7-9:45pm
Creating Short Stories (CRWT 3307) - T 7-9:45pm
Now, granted, only like, two of these classes actually count towards my major, so I'm kinda like :\ about that, but I'm really excited about all of them. I really don't have that much left to do for my major, and most of the stuff I can't take or doesn't fit around my "must have" classes.
Crap... and I still have to figure out what to do for my Honors Project for CV. I don't know what to do really... I need to go talk to Julia and Dr. Harpham about all that. Plus doing this "contract class" thing, where I basically make one of the classes listed above into an Honors class by doing some additional work on the side. I'm thinking of doing Psych of Creativity, but I may do Archeology instead. *adds another thing to list of things to do*
And random note: I'm trying out for the musical in the spring! I have decided that I'm finally going to just give it a shot and do it. I'm going to e-mail the teacher and see if I can find out what musical it's going to be, and also talk to her about trying out for Chamber Singers (high level music class - I miss choir) for the spring as well. If I get into the musical, I may not do the class, but we'll see what happens. (Yes, this is kinda my motto.)
Okay, I need to get back to fixing my cosplay. I'm doing Alice from Pandora Hearts, and I had some trouble with the sleeves... But nothing I can't fix! I found an old sleeve pattern in my closet (Thank goodness I'm a pack rat), and I can totally make this work. ^^ I'm so excited about everything. *dances around*
