Update
Well I changed the lay out of my LJ, it has been AGES since I have even done anything with this, but I am probably gonna start it back up and update more often.
Random thought of the day:
Ok, I was thinking earlier about how children are raised and in general about how the mind of a child works, at such young ages its really when our personalities start to take shape and are just really impressionable. As children we all have these wild imaginations and are asking questions, and are wanting to know more about whats around us. The way we are raised and what we see and are taught by our parents and what kind of life we were brought up into, it makes a HUGE impact on what we will become. Even the place we are raised at, we take pride in our lifestyles, and where we are from, and how we were taught to do things. Its like cheering for the home team in any given sport, they are from your area, and you wanna take pride in the place that you live. So in conclusion to this paragraph, mentally as children its the time when we are taking in so much, and learing whats "right" and "wrong", that we truly begin to take shape in who we are going to be in the future.
I noticed as a child and children in general are subjected to all this happy, colorful, educational toys, and television, like barney for an example. What I find so interesting is despite these things teaching us about being nice to each other, and sharing, and being friends and about working out our differences; the world is just opposite of what is shown to you as a child through all these things. We cant be nice to each other, we cant share, we cant be friends and we cant work out our differences. War and conflict is what all of human history is about, through out all history it all pretty much revolves around war (among alot of other things). Despite what we are taught as a child, I guess at some point we find these things we learned insignificant, like at a certain age we begin to understand that what has been taught just simply isnt reality, and isnt how the world works. Dont get me wrong we can usually be content with most of the people in our country and area. but there are so many ethnicities in the world and so many ways of growing up and being taught, there is no way there will never be conflict. Political leaders often talk about world peace, and how to attain it, notice I said Political LEADERS with an S as in plural, as in more than one. Now with all these political leaders, with all these different views on how to attain world peace, and they have themselves convinced that their way is the best way to go about doing it, what do you think is going to happen? Conflict, war, there is no way around it, and it just cant simply stop. Its human nature to take pride in ourselves and that in and of itself is probably our downfall as the human race. Now in conclusion to my rambling, you should probably be able to see why the places we are raised as children, and the way we are brought up, and what we are taught as a child, all has an impact on how we deal with eachother on an earthly scale, very interesting to think about.
