Chapter 6
-5 YEARS LATER-
Fukuoka, Japan
“Kana-chan, wake up~” the nanny taking care of the cute adorable little girl came into the room and opened the shads.
Kana fidgeted in her bed and snuggled with her giant teddy bear more. The Nanny huffed and put her hands on her hips. “Kana-chan, if you don’t wake up your mama will leave before you get to say goodbye”
With that, Kana’s eyes opened. “Mama…”
She ran to the Nanny, named Yukari “I'm up! Where’s mama?” Kana was bouncing up and down waiting for Yukari to take her to her mama.
“Silly girl, go wash up first. Ill set your clothes on your bed and wait for you downstairs.” Yukari guided her to the bathroom and left to get her an outfit.
Kana brushed her teeth and washed her face, then went to get dress. When she turned to look at the clock she gasped. “Ahh..mama is going to leave soon!”
Kana ran downstairs saying good morning to everyone she passed by. When she reached the dinning room she saw her mama, Yukari, and her God-mother at the table.
“Good Morning, Mama, Reina mama.” Kana bowed while smiling.
Ryo put the newspaper down and went up to his daughter. He picked her up and hugged her “Good Morning Kana, how was your night? Sleep well?” Kana nodded her head and grinned “Haii~”
He brought her to the table sitting Kana in between Reina and himself. Kana turned to Reina “Hi Reina-mama!” Kana hugged her and sat in her seat.
Reina patted her head. “Good morning sweetypie, what would you like for breakfast?”
Kana thought for a good 2 minutes. “Um…I want strawberry pancakes! And strawberry milk.” Kana had a big smile on her face when she thought about strawberries. She LOVED strawberries, other than her mama, strawberries were her world.
While she was waiting for her food, she stared at her mama and her godmother and smiled. Her godmother was her mama’s ex-bosses niece. Her and her Mama are best friends. When her mama was pregnant with her Reina was by her side the whole entire time. They lived in Reina’s summer house too. Kana was happy, even without her papa. She had her mama and reina mama beside her. She knows that Ryo is a guy but she calls him mama anyways since she hears about her papa. Ryo told her that her and kana’s papa used to work together. Its just Ryo had to leave Tokyo so Kana couldn’t see her papa.
“Kana, its your birthday soon. What will you wish for?” Reina asked smiling.
“I will wish for what I wish every year. To meet my papa” Kana smiled. Ryo froze, he hasn’t thought about Yamapi in awhile. He still loved him, he always will but he tried to forget. He sees him on tv sometimes.
Reina sensed Ryo’s tenseness, “Kana dear, why don’t you get ready for kindergarten?” Reina changed the conversation to get Ryo to relax.
Kana jumped off her chair and went toward Yukari. “Okay”
Reina went to sit next to Ryo, “Ryo-chan, are you okay?”
Ryo’s eyes looked sad “I'm fine, its just everytime I see him on TV he looks like he isn’t taking care of himself. Maybe its time that Kana met her father. I cant hide him forever.”
Reina rubbed Ryo’s back. “He does deserve the right to know. He’s making you worried too isn’t he? Make its time to visit Tokyo. We could stay at my house, Kana will ask about her Papa soon too.”
Ryo was thinking, he missed Yamapi a lot. He hasn’t seen him in 3 years, he went to a concert but he noticed that it wasn’t the same. They even celebrated his birthday, even though Ryo wasn’t there. He missed Kanjani8 and NEWS too. He didn’t keep in touch with anyone, except for Johnny-san. He kept his promise and kept Kana a secret from everyone.
“Yeah, your right. We should take some time off and go to Tokyo for Kana’s birthday.” Ryo smiled, remembering all the memories of Tokyo, Johnny’s Jimusho, and of Yamapi.
Reina looks at the clock. “Its almost 9, we should get going.” Reina is a model while Ryo was her assistant. We should send Kana off to school first.”
“Yeah, lets tell her after when we come back from picking her up later.” Ryo had a sad smile on his face. He knew that Yamapi had the right to know, but he didn’t know if he was ready yet. He remembered that he was the one that ran out on Yamapi, Yamapi didn’t know anything. He couldn’t even picture out how Yamapi will react when he finds out about Kana.
