Chapter 4
When Yamapi woke up, he thought about going into the bedroom. He didn’t know how to face Ryo. He peeked in; he saw that Ryo was still sleeping. His heart broke when he saw his tear stained face, and naked body trembling. He pulled the blanket closer to Ryo and tucked him in.
“I'm so sorry Ryo. Please find a way to forgive me” Yamapi kissed his forehead. He got some clothes and went to the bathroom to shower and change. After 30 minutes, he left for work.
Ryo opened his eyes when he heard the door close. Tears started to roll down his cheek. He curled into a ball while crying his heart out.
Why did you do that to me? You promised that you would never do something like that.
Ryo decided to get up and take a shower to try to relieve his stress. When he got up he fell on the floor, because of what Yamapi did last night Ryo couldn’t walk. When Ryo grabbed onto the mattress he saw the blood on the bed. His eyes widened and he just sat on the floor and started to cry more.
-NEWS dressing room-
When Yamapi entered the dressing room, everyone could tell that he was depressed and that Ryo wasn’t beside him. Koyama rushed to his side, while the rest of NEWS surrounded them.
“Yamapi, what happen? Where's Ryo?” Koyama being the mother of the group got worried.
Yamapi looked down. He didn’t know how to tell them. “Ryo-chan is sick…he couldn’t get out of bed so I left him at home.”
Koyamama got into mother-mode quick. “Is he already?! Does he have a cold? What happen to him?” Koyama bombarded him with questions
“No…not really. I’ve done something really bad yesterday.” Yamapi looked down to the floor again.
“what happen Yamapi?” Tegoshi was concerned now too.
Yamapi walked to the sofa and told them everything. From the lunch to when he fell asleep.
“YOU WHAT?!” Koki and Jin walked in with big eyes.
“I didn’t know what I was thinking. I was so angry that Ryo would do something like that, that I didn’t think straight.” Yamapi confessed.
“And u left him at home by himself?!” Jin was shocked. Koki and the rest of NEWS froze.
“He didn’t want to see me, he told me to leave him alone and to not to touch him.” Yamapi laughed bitterly. “I doubt that I could save our relationship now. I broke all our promises.” Yamapi put his face into his hands and sighed.
Jin and Koki looked at Yamapi then at each other. They both sprinted to the KAT-TUN room and said they had to leave early. They ran to Koki’s car and drove to Ryopi’s house.
Jin rang the doorbell at least a hundred times. “Why wont he answer?!” Jin got really worried.
“ Wait, I have a key. Yamapi gave it to me before when you were running back.” Koki gave Jin the key.
When they rushed in they couldn’t hear Ryo anywhere.
“Ryo?! Where are you?” Jin was looking everywhere. They living room, kitchen, and bedroom.
Then, Koki heard someone throwing up in the bathroom. “He’s in the bathroom.”
When they got in, they saw Ryo bent over the toilet throwing up. Jin’s eyes widen “Ryo, are you okay?! Koki quick get him warm water.” Jin rubbed Ryo’s back soothingly
“I'm…alright.” When Ryo finished him and Jin stood up.
“Ryo, are you okay? We talked to Yamapi before.” Ryo flinched when he heard his name.
Ryo didn’t answer and just went to sit in the living room. Jin followed him and so did Koki when he went to get water.
“Thanks Koki.” Ryo smiled. “I see that nothing happen to you guys.” Ryo stared down into his water.
“Well, we did fight a little before, but that was it. Ryo, are you okay?” Jin asked caringly
“I'm fine; I guess I just couldn’t take it.” Ryo laughed sadly. He wanted to cry, but he had no more tears left in him.
“Ryo..” Jin looked at him with concerned eyes.
“Are you going to be okay staying here Ryo?” Koki asked while sitting next to him.
Ryo was unsure. He didn’t know how to face Yamapi anymore. “i…don’t know”
“How about this? Ryo, stay with us for awhile. This way you can figure out what you want to do.” Jin offered Ryo.
“Kou-chan, that’s alright, right?” Jin looked at him.
“yea, Ryo, this may be good for you.” Koki agreed with Jin.
“Are you sure? I don’t want to bother you guys.” Ryo looked at both of them like a child.
“Yea, it would bother us knowing that you would be staying here with Yamapi while your avoiding him the whole time.” Jin stated.
“Alright then…let me just get some clothes.” Ryo went to stand up.
“Let us help you” Jin and Koki offered.
“No its okay.” Ryo said quickly. He still remembered that there was blood on the bed sheets. His smile faded.
“ill just be a couple of minutes. Wait for me out here.” Ryo went inside the room and closed the door.
“I guess I’ll call Yamapi and tell him. Maybe it would be good for both of them to be apart.” Koki went inside the kitchen to call Yamapi.
When Koki informed Yamapi, Yamapi agreed saying that it would be for the best. “Koki, tell him…that I love him okay? No matter what he chooses ill always love him.”
“Alright Yamapi, stay care of yourself okay?”
“Yea, I know. Bye Koki” Koki came out of the kitchen while hanging up.
He saw that Ryo and Jin were already waiting for him. “Lets go? Jin and I have the day off so lets go back to the apartment first”
When they got into the takanishi apartment, they helped Ryo put his stuff away.
“I think that I'm going to take a nap first. I'm a bit tired.” Ryo told them and had a small smile.
“Okay Ryo-chan, we’ll wake you up when dinner’s ready then.” Jin smiled at Ryo and told him to have good dreams.
When Ryo got into bed all he could think about was Yamapi. He was kind of scared of him now, along with missing him. He missed how he would hug him when they slept, and how he would comfort him. Ryo fell asleep thinking about all the things he loved about Yamapi.
“I hope that he will be alright.” Jin looked at the door that Ryo just closed with concern.
Koki went behind him and hugged him. “He will be alright. All he needs is time. Don’t worry so much”
Jin adored his hugs with Koki. They felt comfortable and they made him feel loved.
“We still have a couple of hours before dinner time. Let’s watch a movie” Jin guided Koki to the sofa. Koki put a movie into the DVD player and joined Jin on the sofa. Jin snuggled on Kokis side, while Koki put his arms around him.
When the movie ended, Koki turned to look at Jin. He found out he fell asleep.
Koki laughed. “Just like an angel.” Jin looked to peaceful sleeping on Koki’s shoulder. Koki shook him alittle telling him to wake up.
“Jin, babe. Wake up, its 7 already.” Koki whispered into Jin’s ear. Jin stirred a little then he started to open his eyes.
“Koki?” He rubbed his eyes. “Yeah, the movie just ended.” Koki caressed his face.
“Oh, okay. I should get started on dinner then.” Instead of getting up, Jin cuddled more into Koki’s side. Koki chuckled and put his arms around Jin’s waist. Jin looked up from Koki’s chest while Koki looked down. Their lips met for a sweet and long kiss.
When Jin finished cooking dinner he went to wake Ryo up. “Ryo-chan, dinnertime~” Jin chirped while walking into Ryo’s room.
He saw Ryo huddled into a ball. Immediately, Jin’s smile fell. He didn’t know that Ryo was ever this vulnerable. He heard him saying Yamapi’s name while shaking his head. He held a tight grip on his pillow. He must’ve had a nightmare.
Jin shook Ryo telling him to wake up. When Ryo woke up, he got scared “Where’s Yamapi?” he looked for him everywhere.
“Ryo, ryo. Calm down. You’re at our house remember? You’re not at your house right now.” Jin caressed Ryo’s hair while hugging him.
“Ryo, what happened?” In the meantime, Koki heard the yelling and went inside.
“I had a dream… that Yamapi didn’t want me anymore because he said that he didn’t need me anymore.” Ryo kept shaking his head. “I don’t want that to happen. I love him.” Ryo started to tear.
“Ryo, that’s not going to happen, Yamapi loves you.” Koki went in front of Ryo and comforted him.
“Come on, let’s eat dinner first. I doubt you ate anything today. Go wash up and come to the dining room.” Jin and Koki went out the door into the dining room.
“I forgot that Ryo would be like this. Every time Yamapi and Ryo would have a fight, Ryo would get really scared saying that Yamapi would leave him.” Jin looked down at his food. “How are we supposed to help him with this?” Jin looked at Koki.
Koki cupped his cheeks and kissed his forehead. “Don’t worry; I'm pretty sure that everything will work out. They love each other too much. Don’t over think things.”
When Ryo came out of the bathroom, they began dinner. “This is really good!” Ryo exclaimed. He asked for seconds and thirds too. It seemed like he totally forgot what had happen the night before.
After dinner, they decided to play with Jin’s xbox. They played a couple of games, and after Jin kept losing he gave up. “I'm tired, lets go to bed now.”
Ryo laughed. “You only want to go to bed because you keep losing.”
Jin pouted and faced Koki. “Lets go kou-chan~” Koki chuckled and agreed.
They all said goodnight and went into their bedrooms. When Ryo got into bed, his smile fell. “Pi, I love you.” Ryo curled to his side and let a single tear roll on his cheek.
