Impossible to forget
This season was special from the day we signed Okie to the monsterous moment we got Dice-K. Our hitters hitting 4 home runs in a row and a Mother's Day Miracle. We have seen some great plays and not so great plays. With the intensity of Paplebon the to quiet no-hit wonder Clay Buchholz. Our team was dominant in the AL East and were givng the finger to the Yankees. As summer was here our team we did cheer. As soon as August came we knew what is to come. Once this month hits we sink, it's our worst month to play. We are lucky to get away with 10 win this month. The Sox were losing and the Yanks were winning. In the end we were kings on the AL East. We swept the Angels and prayed the Yanks would lose. They did! Indians here we come. We take one but they win three. With out backs against the wall we paniced but Manny didn't. 1-2-3 WE ARE AL CHAMPS. While this was going on the Rockies had silent bats. World Series here we come. Game one, thrashing. Game two, close. Game three thrashing, close, 10-5. Game 4, 1-0, 2-0, 3-0, they caught up within one, we lead by two they catch up within one again. Paplebon is called and in five outs we are champions again. So in a season we remember the 1967 Impossible Dream 40 years later a dream is a reality. In 2004 that title was for Johnny Pesky, in 2007 this is for Yaz and the rest of the Dream Team.
