Toilet Humor.
My students and I had a good long laugh about how absolutely FILTHY women's public toilets are. There was one guy in the class. I'm sure this made him nervous, yet amused him to no end. This is what happens when you get women in a group. We don't shut up. This actually was sparked by one of the women coming in and refusing to use the closer toilets because people didn't flush them. Ah... with that spring board, we all started wailing on the nastiness. It was quite amusing, especially as I have so many friggin' toilet stories.
Case Closed: Detective Conan
Every now and again I make an EFFORT to read this. I'm currently making an effort between my reading history and sciences to keep up with classes, and working on scripting. In fact, I've managed to make it to vol 13, which is a minor feat, seeing as I've SEEN most of these chapters. I didn't remember until AFTER I started how diligently they had animated this manga. MEH.
TRUE BLOOD SEASON FINALE
"Don't... look... Sookie...." Yes, yes, Sam. We'll avert our eyes. Season finale was okay. We get to see Eric for a moment (and he even gets pounced on by the Queen), and Lafayette looks pretty in white. Sookie is, again, in danger, and it's Bill and Sam to the rescue.... with Sam offering himself up as God Bait. It ends on an interesting note as Bill is kidnapped (I think it's Eric, but who knows?) right after proposing to Sookie, Eggs tries to turn himself into Andy for murder (that goes horribly wrong), and I'm left wondering, "How many of those women are going to come up pregnant after all the shenanigans? I'm betting a pony on the Red head at least..."
I have to say, I still don't like Bill or Sookie. They are my least favorites. I used to like Tara more, but she's a pain too. My appreciation for Sam, Lafayette, and Eric is much higher. Oh, and Eric's wiseass assistant. I like her too.
I'm going to try to see District 9 tonight. I could've done it yesterday, but I didn't feel like it. I dunno if I will tonight either, but we'll see.
