Ah, Saiyuki
I was inspired by the Burial OVA to re-watch Saiyuki. I think I hate the first season's animation something fierce. The backdrop animation, the awkward animation...
I wish they had done a better job of it. I HEAR there's a Wild Adapter OVA AND an Executive Committee OVA, both of which I can't find. -__-;;
OH, but here's the Burial OVA in WMV format (Window Media Player). It's not very big, nor the greatest version... but it's still SANZO.
Saiyuki Burial OVA - SUBBED
The Italian version was MUCH better, even if I understood very little of the subs. (Just enough to get around... but not enough to speak fluently.. really.)
I also read some new DJS from Saiyuki. AND found some Samurai Champloo DJS that were good. Not very RACEY... but good.
I've been translating Patlabor for the past few days, which isn't too bad. I've been feeling guilty since I haven't released any PL in like... MONTHS. I have Darker than Black ch 3 translated and ch 4 MOSTLY translated.
I'm interviewing a new typesetter. Thank god, I could use some help. -__-;; I'm also grateful that I have 2 translators for YAOI, which leaves me free to do the NOT YAOI stuff. Oh, I don't mean I don't like doing YAOI so much as it let's me focus on other stuff. PLUS, I still have to do scan cleaning, and I spent my weekend SCANNING, which is just shit work. I hate scanning more than cleaning, translating, or anything else. It's troublesome and you have to sit next to the scanner so you can arrange the pages and whatnot. UGH. So BORING. Plus, you have to keep track of the pages. TROUBLESOME.
Turns out Z comes in this Saturday! Ah, we'll have some fun, ne? XD
She wants me to dig out some piles of manga for her to read. I had to admit that most of my manga is now in Japanese. She didn't believe me, and swears I have a buttload ANY WAY. Hmm... maybe. I don't recall what she's read or not read... and most of my manga is softcopy any way... ;__;
