Strange Days was on late last night. I rather like that movie. Not LOVE (too much Juilette Lewis titty in it...) but it was pretty good.
THEN - as I was thinking I should go to bed, H popped up. Korean Horror film about a serial killer. Ummm... yummy.
Well, it was silly but I still enjoyed it. I thought it was also Chinese, but I WAS WRONG!!!! Korean. My bad.
In case you guys didn't know, Dumplings is a horror/suspense flick about an actress' search for eternal youth and the "witch" who makes if possible. We say jokingly, 'EAT BABIES' but that was the first time I've seen them seriously eaten.
It's the ones with hair that were BLEH. I still loved it.
I've been sleeping to sounds of Irresponsible Captain Taylor, which just goes to show that pacifism is A-OK. I mean, *I* personally have little truck with it, my being a "FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHT" kinda girl, but still... you leave the series not knowing if he was a genius, a moron, or just the luckiest MoFo ever. Dunno.
The OVAs were meh. And I really don't like Yuriko Star. MEH!!

Ah, Heroic Age... I can't see this anime passing 11 episodes for the sole reason of how are they going to keep these battle sequences up? Seriously, they blew up like 5 Bronze Tribe ships, destroyed a satellite, seriously damaged a planet, and nearly got a Silver Tribe ship, and they WEREN'T BEING ALL THAT SERIOUS!! Although... well, they ARE on episode 5 and nothing has really happened. Except a lot of damage. Maybe it will surpass 11. 26? Maybe? Ah, no matter. Ep 5 hasn't been subbed yet, which is too bad, seeing as it is a Nodoss battle!! I guessed the Silver Tribe had control of the galaxy and I WAS RIGHT!! :: does a smooth 'I WAS RIGHT' dance ::
It has to be said that the Nodoss under the control of the Silver Tribe were from different tribes, but they were all under the Silver Tribe's control. Which made sense, seeing as they said, "Three Tribes Heeded the Call of the Golden Tribe, One Forging Its Own Way." Doesn't mean there aren't OTHER tribes... Just... those Four tribes were special: Silver, Bronze, Heroic, and Iron. Heroic is pretty much extinct, and Bronze seems firmly under Silver's control, leaving the Iron tribe out there.
NEW QUESTION IS: Why is the Iron Tribe being annihilated? Seems the rest have just come under the control of the Silver, but the Iron tribe is being targeted for extermination. Why?
The easy answer: The Golden Tribe foretold the Iron Tribe's dominance of the Galaxy. Um... easy peasey. Right? Dunno...
