been working a shit job to get some cash in my pocket. My two purposes are to get enough to buy a new car, and to start transferring my Mom into town. She needs to move closer to medical facilities and to where my aunt and cousin can also help her out. I can't do EVERYTHING.
The shit job, tho, takes up a LOT of time. It's a bit of nuisance in that way. Otherwise, it pays about the same as my LAST job, as benefits, and I don't have to prep, take home work, or worry about the next day any further than, "shit... I gotta work tomorrow."
It's liberating like that.
On the FLIP SIDE, I haven't done anything I really enjoy because my afternoon is totally booked. Bummer.
Of course, today, I DID wake up to a chapter of Skip Beat! so it's not all lose. And it's Friday. Thank god.
On the ANNOYING side, I think I might have wasted cash on Fallout: New Vegas. I've VERY rarely come across such a buggy game. It freezes, and, not only does it freeze, it freezes EVERYTHING. My whole system essentially crashes, and I have to hard reset. It's pissing me off. It keeps doing it every time I try to do a transaction of goods with this one caravan merchant. Fuck the merchant. I'm just gonna keep trucking.
Things I like about Fallout: New Vegas are actually few. In fact, I honestly can't think of many. I might just trade it back in and wait for the next version. I mean, I don't like the lag. I don't like the Breakdown/Rebuild/Modify crap. I don't like the small magazines on top of the books. I DON'T like the survival/food sitch, because I have to carry more shit and combine them so they're worth more than just 1 bloody HP. I don't like any of it. It pisses me off. My COMPANION lasts longer (this is good), but they kill everything in sight, which tends to annoy me. Plus, they have limited ammo. This wasn't a problem with Fallout 3.
The leveling (I think) is too slow, and they changed Perks to every other leveling, meaning I'm not getting all the perks I want, when I want, and I have to be MORE careful in choosing than I was before. Which really sucks, because I stressed out over the system in the Fallout 3.
The characters are more fragile, too. Shit I could pull off in Fallout 3 breaks my legs or arms in this game. Sure, it's a bit more "realistic," but that realism is PISSING ME OFF.
Oh well, maybe by the time I get to Vegas proper, I'll feel better about the whole game. I doubt it, though. I'm currently annoyed all the time with the bugs and the hard resets. HA HA HA... GAMING SURVIVAL!!
I did order Fable III, and my God of War for PSP DID come in, but... gawd. I haven't even MADE it to the GameStop. I mean, I get up late, and by the time I get up, it's friggin' time to go to work! Bleh!!
Well, I'll get back to it sooner than later, I guess. I have to go get ready. I have like... and hour and a half, and I have to dry my hair (this takes forever).
And... just because it amuses me... here's the MP3 for Cartman (South Park) singing Lady Gaga's POKER FACE, because it made me laugh like hell... har har...
CARTMEN + LADY GAGA'S CRAP FTW!!
