What? Wanna know about my day? Hmm? Really? You REALLY wanna know about my hum-drum little world? Okay then!
Not much really goes on here anymore...I actually look forward to my convoys because they give me something to do. It's either I work, or I sleep, or I'm in here (the internet cafe) reading anime fan-fiction on MediaMiner. Well, I guess something good did happen...I had to go and get my hair cut, because it's been like, 2 weeks since I had. And I was reminded that I HAVE to get my hair cut more often. Why? because it's only $3.00 to get your hair cut, and they give you a MASSAGE when they're done! OH...it feels so good to have your head massaged...they do such a good job, and for so little! And these are local people too, not someone that works directly for the government. Well, not Iraq local, more like Turkey, or Egypt local. They are contracted by the U.S. government to do work here. We have the barbers, people that clean the showers and porta-johns, run the PX (Post Exchange, our shop for snacks, electronics, what-not), and drive the buses. They're cool, I got to know some of them, and they are helping me learn some more Arabic.
