I want to learn to sew so I can do CosPlay too. There was a girl CosPlayer in NewType when the magazine first came out that inspired me to want to learn to sew. Her website had all these costumes she had made. THEY WERE SO BEAUTIFUL. The site is gone now (I was going to leave it here for you to check out). Alas, I've never had time to learn to sew either.

omg kat! you actually worked on your costume I'm so proud of you! I went to six flags today (or.. yesterday) so i didn't get to do much ... actually nothing at all.... but thank goodness it's on the 19th haha I thought it was the first weekend of August xD my hood still looks like im from the AARP KKK maybe i'll just keep it down... i still need to figure out how the hood is going to attach to the jacket thing all together.... it's all just so confusing it streesses me mum out much, so she never likes to bother with it.. all we really have to do is get over the hood-hill then make the shirt (pants are taken care of) and add the fluff and the designs and crap not much right? so much to do so little time T_T but I have high hopes hahaha I still need to get my dad to make me a staffy thingie.... (note: if you have a sword then I'm going to need my staff...) and a mokona plush! who's gonna get the mokona pluuuush!??? *stress builds up and causes premature grey hairs* do you think i should cut my hair or not?.... j/w
