1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Try to move out (and failing miserably)
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Out of a list of... 8? One superficial one of getting a DS.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not to me, but Mum's cousin and best friend died.
5. What countries did you visit?
None, although unlike last year, I actually had it renewed.
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
Independence, some self-confidence and a full driving licence. Nothing changed from last year, I guess.
7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
End of March - not a date, but still a hard time. That was the row I had with Mum about moving out to Liverpool, regardless of me having a job lined up and all.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
What indeed... Not breaking up with Ste despite the trouble and arguments?
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not moving out, learning to drive or losing weight. In that order.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
A nasty cold which made my chest hurt everytime I breathed and losing my voice for a day.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Manga and video games for the DS?
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Marcella for simply being my relationship rock when I needed a shoulder to cry on this year.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
A few people not disincluding myself.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Ebay and Amecon
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Amecon
16. What song will always remind you of 2008?

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Sadder, I suppose, because my future plans are being shaken and my failures of the past year feel more pronounced.
ii. richer or poorer? Hmm, I think my bank balance is roughly the same as last year's.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Paid more attention to what made me happy rather than kowtowing to other people.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Worrying, crying and spending - same as last year.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
This time last year, I thought I was gonna be writing this in my own flat with Ste. Just goes to show, doesn't it? Anyway, I want to spend next Christmas as a happy person, with no guilt, no pressure.

Just with Ste over and over again.

You all know that's not how I roll.
24. What was your favourite TV program?
Never been one that grabs me in a year, though I did watch quite a bit of Gladiators, Queer Eye and For Better or For Worse.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Not hating, but feelings of deep displeasure perhaps. - same as last year
26. What was the best book you read?
Hmmm..... the only one that sticks in my head is Skulduggery Pleasant.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
I discovered I liked Kiss. I also expanded into more Rave and Dance.

I wanted a DS. I got a DS.

I wanted to move out. I didn't move out.

Hm... Enchanted was the one that I really wanted to see and loved this year.

I became 22 and I was in Manchester, playing on my new DS, waiting for Jeff to finish his casting call so we could have some sushi at the Trafford Centre.

Moving out and working through my paranoia.

Same as always. Although, I discovered that I really suited purple and green.

Anything that took my mind off my gloom pit.

None grabbed me this year either.

I wouldn't call them life lessons. "If Life Gives You Lemons, Don't Stick Them In Your Eye", "Only you are responsible for your happiness" and "Tears should only be shed for the people who deserve them".
