I met my half sister today! She has a wonderful family. I actually didn't talk to her that much because I was taking care of the kids most of the time, which was defaulted to me because they took a liking to me and started following me around. Stormie is the cutest little girl in the world! So smart too. I would've gotten some pictures, but Kris decided to play with the camera and ended up with lots of pictures of people in mid sentence and the dog. Kris wanted to fight all the time, but after about 1/2 an hour I got tired out. It was tough to get him to sit down and watch Spongebob. Caleb is just like Ryan in almost every way, except he's a real mama's boy. Norman, Laura's husband, is a total trip. He's on a constant mission to humiliate Laura as much as possible. And he sounds like a little kid when he talks about the things he has to do in Iraq. Like how he got a really cool tank and how he doesn't like the rice and beans the Iraqis make for them and stuff. He has to break down lots of doors and infiltrate buildings from what I could gather. Laura is working somewhere, though I don't know where, but still spends most of the time at home. Laura's really big considering shes one of my siblings. She's completely different from Pam, her mother, who was a horrible person and homemaker. Laura's a really good mother. Our brother and sister don't talk to her anymore. All she knew was that Billy was still trying to get a divorce from his wife and didn't have a clue about what Amanda was doing. She doesn't talk to her mother anymore, but she chose that; I wouldn't talk to Pam either.

One funny thing about Laura and Norman is that they're not like lovers at all. They've broken up a lot of times, but everytime they did Laura ended up pregnant again, and Norman couldn't really seperate from Laura because he wouldn't be able to support himself financially, so they just got married. They act like they're just good friends. It's more of a mutual living arrangement than a marriage, but I guess thats more of what a marriage should be, ideally anyway.

It was nice, and I bet it made Laura feel a lot better to meet her biological father. I hope they can stay longer next time they visit.
