Bleh
Due to cold and rain, I think I've fallen into another depression spell. I also am bored and lonely, as Amy has had retarded amounts of work to do lately and I don't have any friends to hang out with. But as the quarter is almost over, so will the funk soon be over too. Plus my parents are coming to visit next week, so I'll have lots of folk around to keep my brain occupied.
My birthday was fun. Amy and I went to breakfast at Skylarks, which is sort of like a little pub down in Fairhaven. And she gave me Black Cat 13 and Chessmaster Chess for the DS, so I had good reading last night with BC13, and will hopefully become better at chess, as my ability to play is abyssmal. Then since she had to study, I called Brenton and we beat Halo 3 together, which I must say, the game was a lot of fun. I think I'd like to play through it again on a harder difficulty some time. I also picked up House of the Dead 2 and 3 as well as the Wii Zapper which brings back memories of the arcade. I like those games, even if they are showing their age a bit now. So between my three new games (I picked up Smash Bros. two weekends ago)I am trying to keep my brain from doing much thinking.
Brenton managed to snag a Wii this weekend, after searching for a yaer and a half for one. His free month of Xbox Live ran out after Saturday, and he went to Target to buy a year of it. On his way in, he was passed by a guy with a Wii. So he asked about if they had any left, and they happened to have a single unit left, so he bought it. So now I have another friend with Smash Bros. to play with.
