Save me...

I'm currently bored out of my mind in my writing class. I could be doing something productive, but I'm not. Instead, I'll tell you how my wonderful weekend went.

Friday:
Dani left to go home for the weekend. I volunteered to help out with this "Forest of Fear" thing because Ryan was so desperate to find a couple more people. I asked him what time it started and he asked me if I was going. I couldn't say no. I thought it would be fun. When we got there, the girl asked for a few people to pass out coupons at a movie theatre. I agreed to do it because I thought it meant I wouldn't have to wear a costume. Kelsey (a girl from the 3rd floor in my living center) thought the same thing. She ended up having to dress as a mummy, and I was a creepy clown. I was not happy. Kelsey wasn't either. Then the girl gave crappy directions to get to the theatre. Kelsey and I ended up at the wrong theatre. People were walking in and staring at us as we were debating whether or not to get out of the car. I heard someone say "Those people are scary!" Some lady was driving by in the next aisle. As if her lack of speed wasn't bad enough, she stopped, went in reverse, and stared at us again for a minute. We were so humiliated. We finally went in, found out we were at the wrong theatre, and left. We finally got to the right theatre 2 hours after we were supposed to. I had such a bad headache and the mask wasn't helping. It smelled awful. I made some high school girl cry with my costume. I felt bad, but it was still kind of pathetic. My night was made when a few 8th grade girls came up to us and asked for hugs. They stayed and talked to us until their parents got there. One of them was named Chelsea, and she reminded me so much of Chelsey Schalm in her looks and personality (that's only going to mean anything to one person who reads this). The girl who ran the operation and gave us the crappy directions finally let us go a little after 10pm. We got lost on the way back to the forest. Apparently the people didn't treat the kids who volunteered too well.

Saturday:
After not being able to go to sleep until around 2am, I hated getting up at 10 when my parents called me. I still had a horrible headache. I went back to sleep for about 20 minutes and finally got up. My parents took me to breakfast at Big Boy's. I had cinnamon French toast, and it was delicious. We went to Meijer for a bit to pick up a few things, then came back to my dorm. We walked over to the bookstore so my dad could buy a hoodie. I also bought a new hoodie, and Under Armor long-sleeved shirt, and a football jersey. I saw Justin Victor up there and talked to him for a couple of minutes. We left, I packed some stuff, and we went to my parents' hotel so I could drop my things off (I decided to spend the night with them). They took me to dinner at Cracker Barrel (I LOVE that place), then we headed off to the game. We left shortly after the 3rd quarter began because we were kicking ass so badly. It was 35-3 at halftime, if I recall correctly. We scored another touchdown a couple of minutes into the third, so we decided to leave. We went to Coldstone and went back to the hotel.

Sunday:
My parents had the nerve to wake me up early. Grrrr. We went to breakfast at IHOP (my first time there). It was so good. My dad wants a video iPod, so we went to Meijer to see if they had any. My dad was very disappointed to learn that they didn't. My parents brought me back to my dorm, and they left shortly after. I decided to hang out with people after a while, and Dani got back not too long after I left the room. I stayed in James and Dan's room until about 1:30am because Dani had Bryce over (her most likely soon-to-be boyfriend). I fell asleep on Dan's couch for a bit. Bryce ended up staying the night (not surprising). Oh well.

That was pretty much my weekend. Now I'm sat here typing this and making comments on Myspace and Facebook. I still have about half an hour before I can leave. Damn. I'm so happy tomorrow is Tuesday. I only have one class until 12:50, then there's a study abroad fair. I'm definitely checking that out. I can't wait. I also have the first general Chem club meeting. Officers meet at 3:30. I'm glad to be secretary. This is going to be a fun club.
