I have to say the number of participant on animanga/vg icontests/challenge has been low as well. I'm not sure why either, but some icontest communities decided to drop as well. I, myself, would still love to keep this community. I may haven't been signing up lately (I missed last round's sign up) and maybe some people are busy preparing for exams for the last few months..?

I know, I was hoping that in summer things get better, but I also have seen communities that close at the middle of the round and that is not what I want for this commu. I will post the sing-ups and wait to see how many people submit their entries

I'd really hate to see this place go. I love participating, and this is the only 20in20 community I'm currently active in.

I find 20in20 sets to be very relaxing, and the themes give me more motivation to do the icons than just making icons on my own time.

Maybe during summer break things will start being more active?

Me too!, I don't want to close but as I said if we dont' have enought participants there is not point to keep it open.

And yeah you are right maybe wait another couple of rounds and see if we get more entries.

I would be really broken-hearted to see this comm go. It's the only anime 20in20 left ... (anime generally speaking not a specific one) and though lj is dead now it's one of the few little things that keep it alive.

I love this comm, and I know it's not much, but you can count on me being here for every coming round and I'll try my best to deliver every single time. I really hope you would reconsider. So many comms are closing down after running for 5, 6, 7 years because lj is becoming very inactive lately, but hopefully things will perk up.

Maybe we can pimp the sign ups in anime icon comms in dreamweaver n on tumblr pages of the people here who also have a tumblr ... dunno could work.

I really really hope you continue on, and I'll keep supporting you.

Thank you so much for your support, I don't want to close the community either, but as I said if we don't get enough entries this get complicated.

Your idea about pimp the commu in others anime icon comms is great, I did that at the beggining of the comm to get more participants I should do that again.

I'm so glad that we have so many partipants for next round I really hope we can keep the commu open
