For chibi there aren't any official images (I think) that I can icon for it, so I can use fanart (and credit) right? (I think I read somewhere it was allowed but I'm just making sure)

yes, you are right we allowed to use fan art as long as you give the proper credit we encourage to ask permission to the fan art's makers cause there are some of them that don't allow to use their work in other graphics
