Saint David with Mohawk
I checked out a book at the library called, "How to Read a Painting: Secrets of the Old Masters." In it there's an image of the Christ teaching, hand uplifted in a benediction with a circle around his head and I thought, "Hey! I need to do one of those with David." I just so happened to have taken a pic of him a couple weeks ago with an awesome-ass mohawk (sorry ladies, he only kept it for one day) and today I did a pencil sketch of the headshot:

Can you believe he cut it off????? I was dying, but it's his hair. Man, I wish I was a REAL artist with, like, talent, because I have a great idea for the descent from the cross with magick people. In particular, I see Andrieh Vitimus as John the Baptist, and Ceilede as Mary, Mother of God.
