Confidence.

I think this journal has been well around since I'm in secondary school but I don't think I ever wrote much about the anime I've watched then.

Recently, I'm having an intense viewing times with RisPara, Oofuri's Natsu Taikai and Black Cat (up to ep.12). I already finished the first two, Corda's secondo passo and hm, last year, (or was it early this year?) that I watched the 2006 adaptation of Garasu no Kamen, the one in adapted in 1984 and the OVA that was adapted in '98.

I had a wonderful time watching all of them. All three adaptations had different casts but the first voice actor for Hayami was really //▽//// <3
Anyways, I always have a lovely time with Glass Mask's anime. I read the manga up to volume 30+ a few years back with my younger sister and I think it was just //w// for my young self.

Watching RisPara again reminded me that I had a similar situation like Nicoletta, unsure of the feelings of love, unsure of my own self and what I want to do. But really, I do like older guys/men. I just don't like them being stereotyped as old people with moustache or having a sly face. Look at RisPara's male characters, they are what older men could be like. It just doesn't feel right to have them look like they could possibly be an older family relation.

Moving on to Oofuri's Natsu Taikai! I had lots of fun and the anime always give me or let me feel the energy from the story and characters. Feeling very pumped up to cheer for them, I felt a bit sad that they lost against Bijou Sayama (I wonder whether I got this right ^^;) but keep your frustrations to fuel what's coming up, says Momokan (www)

I wish to see more of the manga adapted because the psychological aspect of the story, which is really the charm point of the series. At one point, where Mihashi has problems speaking up with some of the team and Abe-kun, I feel the exact same way as Mihashi. Kantan ni kuchi ni shinai toiu yori, I can't put things easily into words (even when it's the only thing that can explain -w-) because I don't really understand them  OR that I have my own reasons for not saying it out all, afraid that it would be something bad. (like how Mihashi feels)

Corda's secondo passo would be one of the first anime that I've blogged of and now, finally watched. Having to see Miyano-san in a new light, I can appreciate his character, Kaji better. His character song, Cosmic Lucky Day is also really fun /w/ and it sounds like he was really laughing when he was singing the song so //w// Too bad there isn't more of Corda? Not just the anime but anyways, I love the entire cast of Corda. They're just hillarious but I'm a bit curious of Corda 3. I haven't played nor read the manga (or listened to the drama CDs) but it sounds interesting to have 3 or 4 schools together. I just wonder how Kanade-chan falls in love with the character(s) if they're both from different schools (ww)

All in all, the title for the entry is R.O.D The TV's 2nd ending song by Miura Rieko.

I miss such anime that are able to stand on their own, without being conscious of other people's work/anime.

P.S. I passed the 800th mark for my LJ entries :3 v

ramblings, anime
