Sooooo.....Today....what happened today?? Lets start from the beginning shall we?
I had work from 9-5. Wow, an actual full day?! But I wasn't actually working, lol, I was taking a class to get trained for booth. That's the people who start the movies. Yeah, big whoopdy doop. I was really tired waking up today. For the past two weeks I've been staying up till fourish and waking up at 12ish. But that's ok. I need to get myself prepared for monday. I have to wake up at like 7...maybe 6:30ish so that I can get to school on time. Yuck. Anyway. Most of the class was pretty boring. I wanted to fall asleep during one film. But then we got to go to the booths and actually work with the projectors, that was pretty cool. We had to take a test then, if we didn't pass we couldn't get really trained for booth shifts. I felt silly trying to study. But I passed. With more than 100%. Go bonus questions. After that I and another co-worker and the booth manager went to practice threading some more projectors. And that's when it happened. Everything was going fine. I was doing everything pretty well. And I took a step back to see if I Got everything I Needed, and I fell. I forgot that the platter (the thing that olds the film)was so close to the staircase and I fell down the stairs. It wasn't like a whole first to second floor staircase. It was about half that. lol. Luckily I didn't hurt myself too badly. I just bruised my shin. but that hurts like a mofo. I started to tear up because it hurt so much. But I'm ok now. It still stings, but nothing serious. I went home after that. I wasn't about to hang around when I felt so shitty. But I didn't have to clock off, because of what happened. Because if it wasn't for that fall, I would have stayed for my entire shift, but the manager said I could leave early. It was just about twenty minutes. Not a big deal.
After that i went to Sonya and Oscar's graduation party. It was so nice to see them. They had good food. I like oscars house. The backyard is nice too. I just like how it's set up. Other than the little pipes that stick out the cement that i kept tricking on. lol. Kevin and I didn't stay long though, we were both really tired. We looked so lame, we were both limping around. He messed up his foot on wednesday.
Then we went to Karaoke. It was alright. I sang, not to bad. ::shruggs:: Some people Kevin;s family knew was there. A couple, they had their kids there too. One was a toddler, and one was a little baby. The toddler was pretty cute. He had a rat tail, lol. I asked Kevin if our son could have one and he said Never. I'm fine with that, I don't want my son having one either, but I just had to ask lol. The baby's mom asked me if I wanted to old the baby, I said sure. I haven't held a baby since patrick was a baby. So when he was in my arms, I was already nervous, but then he decided to stretch, so I was wide eyed and freaking out. "OH MY GOD! IT MOVED!" 0_o!!!! They all just laughed at me.
After that we went to pick up my dad from some party (My dad was drinking), he didn't want to leave so I got to hang out at Kevins for a bit longer. But the entire time he did his homework (Understandable) and then just played star craft...I looked through his yearsbooks. He looked soooo cute in all of them. Me...not so much. lol.
