Anime Summary: Cowboy Bebop
By the Year 2071, people have made their lives out of planet Earth with the help of an intergalactic space network. A former detective and an ex-syndicate assassin are trying to make a living and forget their past as bounty hunters.
Broken and betrayed by those whom he trusted, Cowboy Bebop follows the adventure Spike Spiegel and his companions aboard the Bebop. While they try to make a living in the Bounty Hunter business, the past of each one will surface making it impossible for them to escape of them without facing their fears and overcoming their weaknesses.
Along with Spike, there is Jet, a skilled former intergalactic police agent, the beautiful and mysterious Faye Valentine, the useful Ed, a master hacker and Ein, an unusual an intelligent Welsh Corgi.
Although it can be argued, the main theme of Cowboy Bebop is “to face the past, make amends and live” and this is repeated throughout the series adding new surprises for the characters along the way.
Cowboy Bebop presents the facts of a cruel reality in a beautiful and dynamic way. The contrast between characters adds a spice of interest to the viewer in wondering the reasons for the diverse character development among the crew. This, combined with the breakthrough style of animation, the compelling voice cast and the fast paced rhythm of Big Band, Rock and Jazz music complements and enhances the emotion of a well crafted plot that does not fail to deliver and increase emotion, drama and humor.
