I've finally tie down to where C and I are going. Paris is on the list after all since the weather in end Oct/early Nov may not permit us to spend every single day in the outdoors in Switzerland. It's no fun sloshing through the rain in the cold Autumn.
We prefer to relax and hang around instead of trying to cover bases ASAP. Thus, 3 nights in Lucerne and 3 nights in Interlaken are suffice for to see lakes and mountains on cruises and via the railway. I hope the weather is clear enough for us to get to the peak of Jungfrau.
We plan to get a chalet style cuckoo clock for the flat and I wonder if I should get another Rolex with a bigger watch face. My eyesight is failing me (yup, definitely a sign of old age). Besides that, I'll probably get a Swiss army knife and a cow bell bag charm (cheesy tourist at work).
We'll also be spending 4 nights in Paris, using the first night to rest from the 7-hour rail journey from Interlaken. One day will be spent in the Louvre and stocking up my favourite tea from Mariage Freres. Another day will be spent on visiting the popular sights in Paris with coffee breaks (probably try pastries at Laduree to find out if I like them). Fourth day in Paris will start off with shopping for books at the "Shakespeare and Company" before visiting Chanel, Hermes and LV. I'm thinking of getting accessories at C and H and check out an LV bag that caught my eye in Venice last year. We'll probably end the day with browsing gourmet food at Bon Marche.
As for helping the piano teacher to get longchamp, the airport should be a good place to snag one before we fly home.
