So...I finished LOST.
And now it's over. Thank God.
This is the point at which I would normally say "well, that was certainly a show." Except I'm really not sure that's true.
So...the finale made sense for the way the show had been going. Or...something. Although I was a bit disappointed in the Desmond Master Plan - I wish it had been more of a game changer than it turned out to be.
One good thing came out of it. At one point, Hurley turns to Ben and says "you were a great Number 2."
BEN WOULD MAKE AN EXCELLENT NUMBER 2. SERIOUSLY YOU GUYS HAVE NO IDEA. Maybe he'll build a village there to trap unwary spies. Not that Number 2 is a job with a particularly long life expectancy attached. But. This is filed into my headcanon in a place isolated from how completely over this show I am. Ben is the New Number 2. Ben is the New Number 2 forever.
Speaking of unnecessary crossovers, just inside the (disturbingly pantheistic) church, there was a stone statue of an angel. With one hand outstretched. ...yeah.
Also in my headcanon is that what was actually served at coq-au-vin night turned out to be flarn. ...nobody but me is gonna get that one. Oh well.
IT'S OVER!
