Loki!
I am babysitting the best cat in the world. His name is Loki and he is a black hole. Light does not escape from him. He is impossible to photograph. And he is the single sweetest thing in the world. And totally in love with the Bailey the Basset Hound.
It's their owner's birthday tomorrow, and so he's going out of town to celebrate. We, in turn, got him a Jar-Jar Binks cake. When we picked it up today, the lady took one look and went "Oh my!" The Other One is bringing it in to work tomorrow. I expect hilarity to ensue. We also built a ramp for Bailey the Dog, who is getting old and not that great at stairs, which we gave to them tonight when they dropped off Loki. We bought materials today and built it in like an hour and a half. I'm kind of ridiculously proud of that, even though I pretty much just played the Lovely Assistant.
In other news, we started watching "Warehouse 13." I adore Artie. Everyone else I can take or leave, at the moment. (We are two thirds of the way through the pilot). But Artie is freakin' awesome. Very nearly as awesome as Bob Newhart, who played the same role in The Librarian (which is basically the same premise, only with Bob Newhart beating up Ninjas). So, we're liking it so far.
But yeah, I'm totally covered in very black cat hair, and the Other One is already sneezing. Loki doesn't rage pee, but he does seem to anxiety shed. Also, he's completely adorable and I might have to steal him. Seriously, the best cat ever.
